The idyllic Puu- Vallila area would be an apartment block today if officials had gotten their way in the 1970s. A new plan had already been approved for the area, replacing the old buildings. However, the residents rose up together in rebellion and saved their own residential area.
The Vallila bag is part of the Kuviokioski Helsinki series. The bag is hand-printed in Vallila, Helsinki. You can choose either a black or blue print for the bag. Please note that each bag is unique, and the color shades may vary slightly between different production batches.
