In the 1970s a competition was held to design the Roihuvuori's water tower. Architect Simo Lume was chosen as the winner with his competition entry “Vesirousku”. The tower is a landmark of Roihuvuori and one of the few water towers in Helsinki that is still in use.
The Roihuvuori towel is made of 100% linen. The towel is printed and sewn in Finland.
