Herttoniemi Poster A4

The Herttoniemi Poster is part of Kuviokioski's Helsinki series. The A4-sized poster is printed in Finland on environmentally friendly paper.

Heinäkuisena yönä vuonna 2018 rakastettu majavapatsas katosi Hiihtomäentien ja Majavatien kulmasta. Patsas kuitenkin palautettiin jo seuraavana yönä omalle paikalleen, täysin vahingoittumana. Majavan lakitus vappuaattona on jokavuotinen perinne Herttoniemessä.

On a July night in 2018, the beloved Beaver statue standing in the corner of Hiihtomäentie and Majavatie suddenly vanished. The statue was returned to its original place the following night, fully unharmed. Capping of the Beaver is an annual May Day tradition in Herttoniemi.
