On a July night in 2018, the beloved Beaver statue standing in the corner of Hiihtomäentie and Majavatie suddenly vanished. The statue was returned to its original place the following night, fully unharmed. Capping of the Beaver is an annual May Day tradition in Herttoniemi .
The Herttoniemi bag is part of the Kuviokioski Helsinki series.
