This is how one of our most beloved products was born: the Voima (Power) Magnet. And now, if ever, its topic is relevant!

The story behind the Voima Magnet

Our designer Tiina draws inspiration from Finnish know-how and customs, the sea and architecture – everything that is at the core of Finnish culture. This is also the basis for the Voima magnet designed last summer.

 🚢 Voima is not just any ship.

It was the world's first icebreaker with two bow thrusters – a true technological pioneer that paved the way both literally in the ice and symbolically in development. This magnet is a tribute to Finnish engineering, calm determination and Arctic attitude.

Bringing up the voima magnet now feels particularly timely; Finland is once again in the headlines as a top expert in icebreakers, as Finnish icebreakers are being exported to the United States for billions of dollars. 🧊🇫🇮
