Kuviokioski's products are a combination of graphically simplified and sympathetic illustrations, produced with high quality materials. Kuviokioski's founder, Illustrator Tiina Achrén makes all the illustrations and designs thoughtfully down to the smallest detail in Helsinki, Finland.
We keep our production as environmentally friendly as possible, and we cooperate with local small businesses.
Our aim is to design timeless and durable items that become meaningful and special to their owners.
We print on FSC®-certified Scandia 2000 paper, which has been given the official Nordic Ecolable - The Swan. Waste heat from the paper's production process is used to supply district heating to local homes – a scheme that is unique in Europe. On our textiles we use Pure Waste canvas bags and T-shirts that are both ethical and ecological. Instead of new cotton, Pure Waste textiles are produced by using leftover cuttings from textile factories.
Kuviokioski's shop and studio is located in the heart of Punavuori, Helsinki (Iso Roobertinkatu 33).
We hand-print most of our textile products in Käpylä, Helsinki. Producing our products locally is very important for us, as we also have our paper products printed in Finland without exception.
